Nora opened Wren after twelve years behind other people's chairs.
She wanted a salon that felt calm: no blaring music, no upselling, enough time with each person.
The room
Wren is three chairs and a big front window on Brookside Plaza. Nora opened it because she wanted a place where nobody has to talk over the music and nobody is sold something they didn't come in for.
Three chairs means each appointment gets the time it needs. Nobody is hurried out of the chair to make room for the next person.
There's a small shelf of what we use on the chair: shampoo and conditioner for color-treated hair, a light texture spray, dry shampoo, a heat protectant and wide-tooth combs. Ask your stylist what suits your hair. Nobody will push it on you.
